The Top Ten Albert Einstein Quotes
66
Albert Einstein is the coolest nerd that ever lived. He gave us the theory of relativity, won a nobel peace prize and perfected the "mad scientist" look. He also had some very thoughtful and interesting things to say. Here are the top ten Albert Einstein quotes:
10. "It should be possible to explain the laws of physics to a barmaid."
We all know you've tried Albert. You dirty dog, you.
9. "Nothing is more destructive of respect for the government and the law of the land than passing laws which cannot be enforced."
The longer a government has been established, the more laws it has created. The more laws a government has created the more power that government possesses. The more power a government possesses, the less efficient it is. What'ca think about that little beauty, huh? Yeah, it's alright. I just made it up.
8. "Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning."
It is very important that we never stop questioning. It is only in this way that we can grow as human beings.
7. "A table, a chair, a bowl of fruit and a violin; what else does a man need to be happy? "
Perhaps, Rocky I-IV?
6. "A question that sometimes drives me hazy: am I or are the others crazy? "
A place that I sometimes draw the line: reading poems by Albert Einstein.
5. "Concern for man and his fate must always form the chief interest of all technical endeavors. Never forget this in the midst of your diagrams and equations."
Thank God Albert was never alive to see Blade Runner.
4. "Any man who can drive safely while kissing a pretty girl is simply not giving the kiss the attention it deserves."
Now that's just smooth.
3. "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."
Due to my extensive knowledge on the battle tactics applied by Theodin and Aragorn in the siege on Helms Deep, I think I may employ myself in World War IV as a military strategist.
2. "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
Some people never learn...
1. "Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind."
Had Einstein not believed in God, would atheists be far more prevalent in todays culture? Something to think about.
